Dr. Khoja; is an elocutionist philosopher, a visionary entrepreneur & a business savvy with a desire to achieve sublimity.
He has had a distinguished professional career, within the high technology realms with strong adaptive ability in leading diverse regulatory programs combined with functional expertise in science and policy domains. His industrial experience spans from advising, innovating & developing cutting-edge projects. He led multidisciplinary teams consisting of Professionals-Engineers, Scientists, and Planners. While working with them; he built a foundation of strong cross-functional skills including Research & Business developments. He has been instrumental in advising to the board for several private and publicly traded start-up companies. He is currently serving as a Visiting Faculty for the Aga Khan University-where he is helping the Department of Biomedical and Biological Sciences to develop different pharmacological application through plants and other natural compounds, Since then he has been a liaison for many educational and industrial cooperative programs.
In 2010, he founded 'LeoFric Consultants, Inc.' which help design highly targeted knowledge-based solutions to address the global client's challenges. Early in 2014, he Co-Founded InMed Pharmaceuticals and directed Botanical Drug Research and Development for their pre-clinical stage novel therapies into the extensive pharmacological application, which then became public and raised over $52 Million in market capital. In 2015, he was appointed to act as a Vice President for Innovation and Scientific affairs of a publically traded company Affinor growers, Inc. and sat on the board of governors to help them develop vertical farming design and have made significant progress to get US-Department of Agriculture collaborate and helped in development of novel farming techniques, which increases per acreage capital farming yield and eventually reduces cost to the farming community. He has shown through his vast experience that he is creative, innovative and a growth expert both in privately held or publically traded companies. He now serves on multiple companies as a (CSO) Chief Scientific Officer as well as the board of directors and plays an advisory role to develop novel therapies through the R&D into the extensive pharmacology from natural compounds found in marine as well as plant sources and to develop GMP (APIs).
Dr. Khoja earned his PhD, with honors in “Molecular Biology and Genetic Engineering” from a French Ivy league: INP-ENSAT. He had his postdoc training at the Michigan State University a US land-grant university. Soon after, he was appointed as a Research Faculty for Virginia-Tech, University of Wyoming & Texas-Tech University-Health Science Center, respectively. His breakthrough research work on "Algae 4 Fuel" was recognized by the US-DOE (Department of Energy) and raised over $25 million. His scientific works have been published in over 32 peer-reviewed journals. In 2011, his work was honored by the United Nation's-FAO. He is an elocutionist and has a command over 12 international languages.
